youZingit is a place where everyone can  go to get paid for ideas - with no cost to the "idea seller".  The site will allow you to browse ideas for sale and RFIs or "Requests for Ideas" from companies - without registering.  If you are a company, you can submit a request for ideas simply by registering for free.  Similarly, if you want to post an idea or respond to a company's request for ideas - all you have to do is register for free and follow the simple steps to post your idea.  You will be eligible to get paid at no cost to you. Your idea will be confidential until someone pays to view it.  You will choose what you want others to see while it is in public view on the website.  Once they have viewed your full idea with any attachments, the rights or license to your idea can be purchased.  You will be protected every step of the way by contractual agreements prepared by an attorney.  And if you don't think this will work, remember the Winkelvoss Twins who had the original idea for Facebook?

We recently conducted a survey for those that want to increase their chances to sell ideas to companies by offering some additional benefits and features on the youZingit website.  You can take the survey while it is still available here.  These additional benefits will be available for a very low cost premium subscription and is for those people that want more value and extra help to get paid for ideas. However, the subscription is not necessary to use the website and still have the same chance to make money like everyone else. Get Paid For Your Ideas: Selling to Companies

If you would like to get paid for ideas by selling them to companies, there are a few basic things to keep in mind.  First, it is helpful if it is a brand, product or service that you like or use.  In this way, you will most likely have an understanding of the benefits and/or drawbacks of the product as well as those products offered by competitors.  If you are responding to a request from a company, then you should become familiar with the product or service if you have not used it.  With this insight, you should make a list of the positive and negative aspects of the product in question, as well as products of its competitors.  Then ask yourself the question: "How can this product be better or differentiate itself from the competition?" When selling ideas to companies, you may also want to think about current trends in the market and how certain products or services can be tied to those trends.  For example, a type of fast food that uses only organic ingredients due to the growing trend of consuming organic foods.

If you are not responding to a specific request from a company, then you are better off developing an idea for a company that already has an interest in obtaining ideas from its consumer market.
