Get Paid for Ideas! youZingit is Here!

The wait is over! youZingit has launched its beta website and is presently sponsoring four "Requests for Ideas" contests to compensate its beta users for participating. It is time to get paid for ideas as you submit your ideas to win a total of $6,000 in compensation.  youZingit will allow you to post your own ideas about anything or you can respond to one of the Request for Ideas.  After the beta period, youZingit will be hosting "Requests for Ideas" by Companies and Brands for thousands of dollars in cash awards.

When you post an idea on youZingit, it is always posted in a "short form" and only after a company pays a "view fee" can they see your full idea with any photo, graphic or video attachments.  View fees typically cost $20 each and companies will have set view fee budgets to pay for many of the ideas submitted.  Once they pay for a view fee, they have the option to purchase the rights to the idea with a larger cash award. Only premium members can collect the view fees, but free members can still collect the larger cash awards and get paid for ideas.  Click on the link below to see our current "RFIs" or "Requests for Ideas"

Marketing Ideas Contest Winners Get Paid For Ideas

It is another successful contest on youZingit where our users or "Creative Consumers" get paid for ideas. This time the challenge was for our fans to develop ideas to help spread the word about youZingit in the form of marketing concepts to help youZingit grow its userbase.  This contest is the latest in a series of contests hosted on Facebook to "prepare" our users for the unveiling of our new website where companies will host contests or a Request for Ideas (RFI).  These RFIs will present challenges to youZingit users to solve business problems to improve products and services, create names or slogans for new products, packaging ideas and a host of other tasks.  The winners will be awarded cash prizes and gain recognition for their efforts.  This is a mutually beneficial interaction between Consumers and Brands.  Brands will receive great ideas directly from their consumer base, identify trends in the market and get brand recognition resulting from sharing on social networks.  youZingit is committed to adding value for both Consumers and Brands.

In our latest contest, the first place $300 winner was Danny Garcia, an avid blogger, freelancer and online enthusiast. His winning entry, shown below, was to create a live online game show to engage our audience on a new level.  The game show would be interactive, with the audience voting for contestants.  We have some great ideas about the content of the show and are excited to experiment with it. Check out the youZingit Facebook page to see the other creative ideas submitted in the contest.  youZingit is a place where people get paid for ideas and get recognized for their creative work.

Look for the unveiling of the youZingit Beta site in the next few days. Sign up for an invite at http://www.youzingit.com/.  There will be opportunities for our beta users to earn lots of cash awards and get discount on our value added premium subscription.

Request for Ideas: Get Paid for Ideas to Market youZingit

Get Paid for Ideas $500 Cash Prize
As we approach our full website launch, youZingit.com is holding one more Facebook contest so our users and fans can get paid for ideas.  This time the contest will be more in line with what you can expect from the youZingit website after launch.  This contest, which we call an "RFI" or Request for Ideas will be to develop an idea or strategy for youZingit.com to attract new users to its upcoming website.  Full contest details can be found by clicking the entry button below. Entries should be written, as detailed as possible to explain your solution and should include a photo. This could range from a "stunt" event to a longer term strategy.

Could it be a "grass roots" effort starting at a local level, a viral internet based campaign or something else?  That is the challenge.

youZingit is a website platform for buying and selling ideas.  Ideally, our users can get paid for ideas in two ways: First, they can submit their ideas as a "general post" which will be searchable by category or keyword to be easily found by companies searching for ideas to improve their products and services.  With this method, users can target ideas they have to specific companies or products.  Secondly, users can respond to a company's "RFI" or Request for Ideas.  These will be specific requests by companies to improve existing products and services, create new products or to solve some other business problem.  These requests will be posted on the upcoming youZingit website with specific instructions for the submissions. For companies this platform will be a way to tap into their consumer base for fresh ideas, discover market trends and gain valuable brand recognition as users engage across social networks.

youZingit is free for all people who want to get paid for ideas.  We will also offer a low cost annual Premium Member subscription that will offer valuable benefits.  For example: How would you like to get paid for your idea even if a company just looks at it?  This is possible because your idea will always be listed in an abbreviated "short view" and companies will have to pay a small view fee to have access to your full idea and any attachments you may include.  This is one benefit of the Premium Membership.  Other benefits will include personalized help organizing and creating your ideas, unlimited data storage, unlimited time for your ideas to remain posted, a user spotlight featuring your idea on our homepage and assistance marketing your ideas directly to companies who may be interested in them.

So stay tuned...all the details will be unveiled when the full website is launched very shortly.  For now, why don't you enter the contest and win a few bucks....$500 of them!

Sharpen Your Mind & Get Paid for Ideas

There has been a growing consensus that internet use has been "dumbing down" our youth by limiting their cognitive and creative thinking skills.  This has been documented in the last couple of years on a CNBC segment named "Crackberry'd: The Truth About Information Overload", which was based upon the similarly titled book by Kevin Michaluk.  The CNBC segment details how internet use can actually stimulate your brain and improve hand-eye coordination, but because of the sheer volume of information we try to digest and the resulting multi-tasking required, people are susceptible to memory loss and shrinkage of the brain. Connecting this with an interesting article by Mark W. Schaefer about the evolution of social media  and how marketers are competing for customers who have less time and attention due to information overload, we start to see a dismal and pessimistic outlook for future of internet use and its negative affect on people.  What does this have to do with youZingit and people who like to get paid for ideas?  I am glad you asked!

The article referenced above describes how internet use went from thought provoking and intellectually stimulating blogs, to numbered lists, to infographics, to photos (i.e. Pinterest) and in the future a possible Mondrian inspired abstraction which requires less effort to digest.  This is very a plausible and likely scenario and the reason why we must devise a way for companies to market to customers while engaging them intellectually at the same time.  This is the genesis of youZingit and how we aim to bring customers and companies together in a way that is mutually beneficial.  Companies will take advantage of the power and reach of the internet to tap into the creative minds of people from all corners of the globe, while identifying consumer trends and promoting their brand with a social "buzz" about their products and services.  youZingit users will get the chance to use the internet to exercise their minds, improve cognitive skills, showcase their talents and most importantly get paid for ideas they have bouncing around in their heads.  This symbiotic relationship will also improve products and services for everyone, making them more relevant and useful.

Check back into our blog often, as we will offer useful information on how you can get paid for ideas and enrich your creative mind.  Our full website is almost complete, but in the meantime visit the youZingit Facebook Page for more information, to give feedback and to enter some fun contests.

Enter the Product Improvement Contest and Get Paid For Ideas - $325 USD

Okay youZingit Fans, as promised - here it is!  This is our second contest to have some fun and start thinking creatively.  What a great way to get paid for ideas by making a suggestion to improve a product that you have used in the past.  This is the first step for you to sell ideas to companies.  For this contest, we want you to pick any product (or it can be a service too) that you are familiar with and find something about it that could be improved.  For example, it may be the packaging on one of your favorite foods - maybe something more environmental, more attractive, easier to open?  Or perhaps it is an improvement for clothing that you wear, electronic devices you use or even a website that you visit.  It can really be anything that you think you can find a way to make better.

youZingit.com
To enter this contest, we would like you to give us a written, detailed description of exactly how you would change the product.  Be specific.  The more detailed you are, the better your chances to win.  In addition, you can also submit a video or a photo to help explain your product improvement.  The video should be uploaded to youTube and you will provide the link in the entry form.  When uploading to youTube, you have the option of making the link "public" or "unlisted" if you don't want everyone to see it.  The video can be of you explaining the changes to the product or maybe showing the product in your hands and with some changes made to it.  The photo could be a snapshot of the product with the changes made in photo editing software or perhaps a JPEG of PDF of a drawing that you have created in a paint program or even Google SketchUp.  If using a photo or a drawing, we would like you to provide a "public", shareable link from a photo sharing website.  We like Flickr because it allows you to post your photo on their website and then provide a link to easily share it for free online.  You can provide that link in the contest entry form. So, if you want to get paid for ideas, enter our Product Improvement Contest on our Facebook Page or from the online link below.

or

In the near future, our full complete website at youZingit.com will be providing idea requests from companies with cash rewards for the best ideas.  Use our Facebook contests as a way to prepare for these larger, more exciting challenges.
